Ask Questions Here   Subject    Created By    Replies    Last Updated       Body How to create a formula in Designer so that a lists title column links to the file.    0 5/15/2012 11:39 PM I see that Designer 2010 now opens a Formula dialog and offers up XPath functions rather than how in Sharepoint Designer 2007,  I was able to change the XSL value in the dataview to @FileRef by editing the "value of" I have a document library and a dataview displaying the documents of the library thru a view.   My dataview columns are Title | Description |    -  but these don't link to the document itself.  The behavior I want is clicking the title to open the pdf or word doc, etc. within the library.  (the name column is a link, but the filenames are not user friendly).   Could someone tell me how to render the Title column text as a hyperlink to the document? ​ SharePoint 2007 Surveys    0 5/9/2012 12:30 PM We are using SharePoint 2007 for our Intranet and created a survey. When I check the surveys I see that they are not in order as the most current on top. Is there any way to fix this? I would like to have the most current survey response to the old response. I configured it to pull the value from Active Directory.  It is populating the value to the user profile and I can verify this when I look at the profiles in Central Admin.   How do I get this property to show up on the Person.aspx page? You know, the page users see when they view a user profile? Reoccuring multiday calendar events    0 4/26/2012 11:28 AM We using a calendar to track who is on call in out IT department.  When we create the week long events and try to set them as reocurring, the entry shows on all days forever.  I need to get it to work like it does in Outlook, showing on the calendar as mon-sun every 5 weeks.    How can this be accomplished   Thanks​ Blog emails    1 5/2/2012 5:06 AM Is there a way to modify the emails that go out when a new blog entry is posted​ Disabling search    0 4/24/2012 9:33 AM I need a quick and easy way to disable search.  It was discussed in last weeks training but unable to find notes on it.  Therre were 2 things that needed to be disabled, can you remind of what they are?​ User name change not showing on some site collections    1 4/24/2012 4:48 PM I have a user that changed her name, some site collections show her new name and other still show her old last name.  How can I get this to to show only her new name on all site collections?​ Simplifying "Download a Copy"    0 4/20/2012 2:52 PM ​Hi Gary - We have a Documents Library that contains lots of documents that are available to everyone in the company.  I'd like to make the process of downloading a copy as easy as possible (i.e. one mouse click).  Is there any way I can link the "Title" of a document with the action of the "Download a Copy" button in the ribbon?  I know that the "Name" field contains a link that allows users to edit the document (which we still want to allow), but I'd like to make the "Download" action work similar to the Edit action - only on the Title instead of the Name.
